Samsung Galaxy C8 Comes With Dual Rear Cameras and Facial Recognition Feature


Samsung has launched its next new smartphone in China with a dual rear camera which is titled as Samsung Galaxy C8. Samsung Galaxy C8 is now officially registered on the China website, but the price of the smartphone has not been confirmed.

This is the third smartphone which comes with dual cameras at the rear. Now, Samsung has the Galaxy Note 8 + Galaxy J7 and Galaxy C8 following this camera style. This is a more premium smartphone and gives the Infinity Display and Stylish. Dual cameras have emerged as one of the biggest trends among smartphone makers in the past year alone and Samsung is joining Huawei, Apple, Motorola, and others branded smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy C8 Features and Specifications

Samsung Galaxy C8 will let users take pictures with the accurate effect. The Samsung Galaxy C8, also comes with a face recognition for unlocking the smartphone. The device also features a fingerprint sensor which is embedded in the physical home button in the front.

Samsung galaxy c8 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with Samsung’s custom UI layer over it and is backed up by 3,000 mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the device offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a USB Type-C port.


Samsung Galaxy C8 has 5.5-inch Super AMOLED with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), Always-On display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.


The phone has 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage, 256GB expandable memory slot.


Sensors on board are Acceleration, fingerprint reader, gyro sensor, geomagnetic, RGB light sensor, and proximity.


The Galaxy C8 sports a dual rear camera setup with the 13MP primary color sensor and a 5MP secondary monochrome sensor. The primary 13MP sensor features f/1.7 aperture while the secondary sensor comes with f/1.9 aperture. The setup seems similar to the Galaxy J7+ with support for features like the double photo where users can click a photo and later adjust the focus. It also includes a Live Focus mode for clicking pictures with a blurred background. The phone has a 16MP selfie shooter with f/1.9 aperture and dedicated front flash.
