It is the time of the month when Microgaming, the oldest and best known casino software developer of the industry, releases its latest casino games at the beginning of each month. Its first (two) game(s) promised for October release have been already launched at the Royal Vegas Casino, with the second (third) one expected to be released later – closer to Halloween.
Titans of the Sun
The two new games released by Microgaming this month are actually two versions of the same slot machine. Launched through the Royal Vegas Casino this morning, Titans of the Sun takes us on a trip into a time before time, when the world was freshly created by the ancient Greek gods. Out of the marriage of Gaia (the Earth) and Uranus (the Sky) twelve Titans were born. Hyperion and his sister Theia – the two main characters of the games – were responsible for the light and heat that reaches our home world. Later they became the parents of possibly the most important deities of the ancient world: Helios (the Sun), Selene (the Moon) and Eos (the Dawn).
As you might expect, Hyperion and Theia are the symbols on the games’ reels associated with the largest payout. Along with the two Titans, the reels are filled with other symbols like a flaming stallion and a magnificent fire bird, along with 10 to A symbols to make the reels complete. The Titans of the Sun logo acts as a Wild symbol, while the one depicting the two Titans acts as a Scatter, triggering the game’s Free Spins.
The Titans of the Sun slot machine introduces a new feature, too – Mystery Symbols. These – bearing the image of the Sun – can transform into any other symbol on the reels, even Wild ones during free spins, thus maximizing the players’ wins.
Both Titans of the Sun slot machines can be tried for free or played for real at the Royal Vegas Casino.
Peek A Boo
The second (third?) video slot machine Royal Vegas players can expect to play this month will bring with it the spirit of Halloween. But instead of Jack-o-Lanterns and scary monsters it will feature ghosts – four of them to be exact – and mountains of candy, chocolate and other sweets. Besides, it will also come with a fearless ghost hunter zapping ghosts whenever he gets the occasion. And he does this with a purpose – once he zaps enough, the ectoplasm container on the right fills up triggering the game’s Free Spins. The game normally has 40 win lines, but during free spins this increases to 1024 ways to win.
Peek A Boo is expected to be released through the Royal Vegas casino sometime close to this month’s end – in time for the scariest and sweetest holiday of the year.
